Start 3 New Things In The New Year

‘New Year’ is a wonderful time to start something new. There is a certain excitement in the air and hearts with the beginning of a new calendar for sure 🙂

 

We all have an innate desire to grow and evolve into our best selves…whether we are conscious about it or not.

 

Change can happen any time we are ready for it and usually begin with a change in perspective or perception. So how about make a choice, choose a few things and get on with them with a new zeal…

 

It is advisable not to go for more than 3 things, when you plan to do new things or set new goals.

DETOX from the time wasters in your life:

 

I am not talking only about the people who waste your time with whining, complaining and sucking your energy, but your biggest enemy – your own mind chatter… an average person wastes way too much energy and time in thinking and rethinking the same old patterns. Get rid of your own mind’s drama and live a pure, clear, blissful life.

 

A life coach can help you clarify the influence others and your own mind have on your well-being and how to get rid of anxiety.

 

Another highly required detox is the Digital detox – which might not be as difficult as it might seem. Just put your mobile, laptop, tablet away for a day (sunday might be convenient for most of us) and live time fully rather than in broken fragments by these digital interventions 🙂

 

Expand time for yourself:

If you do not have any time at all for meditation, you must do this. Do it anywhere you can…during your commute to work, toilet, breaks, traffic jams…if you have intention, you’ll find places to do it. Just sit still, breathe deep and go within…call your thoughts, come on thoughts, and observe when they come. Just observe, do not label, indulge, entertain or identify with them. Just notice and let them pass.

The more you do this…the more connected you will feel with who you are.

 

Get inspired by your own resolutions:

Love your best asset – your body:

Share some love and care with your body…see what you fancy- running, dance moves, Zumba, Yoga or something else. With special and interesting movements for every part of your body, choose the ones you would love to do. Meet people who inspire you:

If you are ready, you will attract positive, inspiring people…who surely can uplift your energy. And when that happens make sure that you inspire few other people and uplift them…

 

Have cheerleaders around you and be one for others!

 

Now, is the time for you to choose three things, out of the list above and plan a way to incorporate them in your lifestyle.

 

You’ll be surprised if you could manage to do them for 21 days, you would be hooked to a new lifestyle, a NEW YOU and experience big shift in your life.

Scientists have proved that if we do any new thing for continuous 21 days, a new neuron starts generating in our brain and it is beginning of a new habit.
